Spicy Baked Chickpeas

 

Ingredients:

2 (15 oz) cans of chickpeas (garbanzo beans) - drained and rinsed

2 tablespoon olive oil - soy sauce can be used as well

1 teaspoon ground cumin, chili powder

1/2 teaspoon sea salt, pepper, and garlic powder (optional)

 

Instructions:

Heat oven to 400 degrees F - place the baking rack in the middle of oven - Put all the chickpeas in a large bowl and mix in all the ingredients - stirring it all up to make sure they everything is evenly distributed with the chickpeas. After they are all evenly coated - place them on a baking sheet that has been covered with aluminum foil - and event spread them out. Bake until crisp and golden brown - which is usually 30-45 minutes depending on your oven, the amount of chickpeas used and their size.
